What’s the difference between Smilelign and Invisalign?

In essence, they are both clear aligners allowing you to straighten your smile with comfort, convenience and zero metal!  However, there are some differences in the solutions. With Smilelign, your dentist will issue you with a set of Smilelign pre-aligners at your consultation. These are designed to give you the chance to try out the […]

Can adults get Smilelign treatment?

Yes! Smilelign is suitable for adults. As it is virtually invisible, it can be extremely beneficial for those meeting clients at work, without affecting your confidence as metal braces can.

How often do I change my aligners?

Typically, most aligners have achieved their movements within a 2 week period. However, you should only move onto your next aligner when the aligner can be removed and fitted in easily, and there is no pressure felt on any of your teeth. If you move on too quickly this could result in treatment taking longer.

How does the Smilelign system work?

Smilelign works by slowly moving your teeth using custom made plastic trays worn in the mouth. Each brace is designed to move your teeth 0.3mm. Every couple of weeks these trays are changed to a different size as the teeth straighten.

What is Smilelign?

Smilelign is a new innovative orthodontic technique to traditional braces treatment used for the correction of teeth. Virtually invisible, removable braces, the Smilelign aligners are designed specifically for you to move your teeth gradually until they have reached the final desired position.

Do you provide Invisalign?

Yes, we offer Invisalign clear aligners to help correct crooked teeth without the need for traditional braces. Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually shift your teeth into the desired position. If you are interested in Invisalign, we would be happy to discuss your options with you and determine if it’s […]
