Can adults get Smilelign treatment?

Yes! Smilelign is suitable for adults. As it is virtually invisible, it can be extremely beneficial for those meeting clients at work, without affecting your confidence as metal braces can.

How often do I change my aligners?

Typically, most aligners have achieved their movements within a 2 week period. However, you should only move onto your next aligner when the aligner can be removed and fitted in easily, and there is no pressure felt on any of your teeth. If you move on too quickly this could result in treatment taking longer.

Smilelign works by slowly moving your teeth using custom made plastic trays worn in the mouth. Each brace is designed to move your teeth 0.3mm. Every couple of weeks these trays are changed to a different size as the teeth straighten.

What is Smilelign?

Smilelign is a new innovative orthodontic technique to traditional braces treatment used for the correction of teeth. Virtually invisible, removable braces, the Smilelign aligners are designed specifically for you to move your teeth gradually until they have reached the final desired position.
